A self-less love is an unconditional love. The kind of love our parents shower on us, without any expectations, without any conditions, inhibitions, possessiveness, boundaries. It is the kind of love that flows like energy, an aura that constantly revolves around us.
Love is not merely doing things which are expected out of you from the society. It is that stepping stone that lets an individual take a higher road. It lets you love a person without any sort of expectation, looking beyond the imperfections and just loving.
As simple as it sounds, it is a difficult thing to master. I think love is a form of meditation, Perhaps that is why it seems like a daunting task to love a person. We often complain about the people we love, but are we perfect enough to find the flaws in other's?
Do we ever self introspect before condemning a person?
The answer is NO.
The answer is NO.
We relate people to materialistic things, Maybe that is why it becomes harder to connect to another person and love unconditionally.
How has it become so easy to fall in and out of love?
It is because you don't accept the person you love as they are. You are constantly vouching for a picture perfect person outlined by your subconscious mind.

Loving is more about acceptance. You need to accept a person with all the flaws, the insecurities. Embracing those flaws and creating a rhythm is all it takes to fit in the pieces of the jig-saw puzzle of ones heart and soul.
All of us are broken somewhere, we have had our share of ups and down and that's what makes us the person we are today. Our experiences shape us, they teach us. All it takes to love is a person who is ready to accept this broken yet beautifully repaired soul. Of course, our parents forever will be the people who would accept us even when we are broken beyond repair.
But the question is, in our lives, do we ever find a soulmate, a companion who understands the tattered soul trapped inside our bodies. Who is ready to embrace the scars on you heart, the thorns you have succumbed upon in you journey so far. Who believes in you.
Isn't love all about , breaking us open, making us vulnerable. And yet loving a person unconditionally!
